– Feedback From Patient (Wayne) Receiving Treatments At Our Clinic Sept 24 / 2010

Feedback provided by therapist with patients consent:
Shoulders are a funny body part to treat. Most other body parts respond very consistently, while shoulders have a larger variance in laser dosages / strengths. We started tx’s on patient using Shoulder Stage One treatment. After first tx patient showed no change, we attempted a second tx and the pain symptoms actually worsened for a approx 24 hrs and then went back to the baseline pain. When symptoms get worse it usually means strength is too high, but to be sure we attempted one more tx at the lowest shoulder setting protocol and the patient noticed no change. Realizing this strength or “dose” was not working for this patient we decided to significantly reduce the laser strength and increase the time thereby still receiving the same “dose”.

– Symptoms prior to fourth TX:
> Pain level before fourth laser TX 6-7 out of ten.
> Since Jan 2010 patient was waking up 3-4 every night due to shoulder pains.
> During the day certain movement that would cause pain spikes. The pain spikes would go as high as 8-9 out of 10. This would happen 4-6 times daily.

– Symptoms after yesterday (fourth) TX
> Approx 4-6 hrs after the laser TX pain level lowered to 4 out of 10.
> Patients range of motion increased(ROM)
> At approx 7pm tonight patient (24hrs after TX) patient is still holding at a 4-5 out of 10 pain level. From his symptoms, patient seems to have a high pain tolerance. I have seen other patients with similar conditions, that claim there pain levels are 10 out 10, and that the “pain shocks” are unbearable.
> Patient was not awoken by shoulder pains last night. First time since Jan 2010 approx
> During the entire next two days, patient did not have a single “pain shock” episode.
> We will continue treatments and keep you posted!

“Since starting with the laser… I have had some outstanding results in being able to get our athletes back to the game and practice. I have no hesitations to give this unit my full endorsement.”
- Chuck Mooney, Head Trainer, Toronto Raptors

“There is no other system in the world that is comparable or gets such outstanding results.”
- Dr. Leonard Rudnick, Laser Therapeutics of Southern Arizona

“Meditech’s BioFlex System is time-tested and ready for an expanding global market of people who want to eliminate pain, restore mobility and recapture quality of life.”

“We started seeing patients last week. This is the end of week two. The results have been unreal!!! Everyone is ecstatic. We will finish with 37 treatments this week (without advertising). We have more than 40 slotted for next week. We started a waiting list for the next week. We could easily see 70 per week if we wanted to work more. It is obvious that we need two or three more machines. I just need two or three more parking spaces. We are currently looking for a different office space with appropriate parking. I think the best way to go is to have 4 or 5 units with one therapist in the room at all times.

I never doubted the technology. I knew it would work. I didn’t think it would work this well. If you have prospective doctors that are unsure, have them call me. This is the best decision I ever made in my practice. Thanks for everything.”
- Jim Cousineau, D.C., King St. Family Chiropractic

“I have to say something. In all my years dealing with different suppliers and other companies, I have never been so impressed as I am with the Meditech team. You guys really seem to have your act together and offer incredible support through easy contact and your open door
policy. If every company were like you, there would be no need for the Better Business Bureau.”
- Scot Mundle, D.C., Napanee Chiropractic Care Centre

“LILT is one of the most underutilized pain management options available today. Once incorporated by our patients, it is typically one of the most appreciated treatments based on its tolerability and cumulative efficacy. The BioFlex system presents a comprehensive, easy to incorporate approach to introducing low intensity laser therapeutics to patients with pain.”
- Robert Bonakdar, M.D., Director of Integrative Pain Management
Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine, La Jolla, CA
